Baldwin County Monthly Housing Report: January 2019

All though all stats dropped last month except a 6% increase in the average sales price, Realtors are staying busy, and the market is holding steady.

Baldwin Realtors’ Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports the total amount of residential active inventory in January 2019 was 3,027.

379 properties were sold last month, a decrease of 17% from January 2018: 458.

Properties are staying the market for about the same time as January 2018: 96 days, decreasing 1% from 97 days last year.

January total sales volume decreased almost 12% this year, $136,666,765, from $155,213,760 in January 2018.

The average sales prices of residential properties in Baldwin County this month increased 6% from 2018. Last year, the average sales price was $284,930, and this year, $302,586.

Average Sales Price: $321,208

Average Days on Market: 85
