ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – An increase in home sales and the average sales price, along with homes staying on the market for less time are the themes of the Baldwin County housing market’s summer. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports the total amount of residential active inventory in July 2019 was 3,132 properties.
A total of 725 properties were sold last month, which is nearly identical to July 2018 (727). Additionally, properties were on the market for approximately the same amount of time last month, 87 days, compared to 89 days in July 2018.
July’s total sales volume increased 8.5% in 2019, totaling $220,192,212, compared to $202,977,271 in July 2018. The average sales prices of residential properties in Baldwin County increased 8.5% totaling $302,877, compared to $279,968 in 2018.
