"I’d much rather have the pressures of dealing with growth than dealing with issues related to dwindling population, no jobs and few revenue sources for our citizens."
The Baldwin County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) worked with The Baldwin County Public Schools to teach local children about real estate. Through the Game Changer Grant from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) BCAR, was able to create and distribute activity books to local kindergarteners to teach them and their parents about the importance of homeownership, it’s impact on the community, and how a REALTOR® can help in the process.

As a local REALTOR®, broker, and 2017 President of the Baldwin County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR), I see daily the impact that the Baldwin County School System has on growth in our county. When buyers from out of the area search for a home in lower Alabama, a thriving school district is one of the most important criteria.
The Baldwin County Association of REALTORS®(BCAR) held their annual Installation Ceremony Thursday, December 1st to install the new Association and MLS Board of Directors. The Association welcomed 19 Association Board Directors and Officers and nine MLS Board Directors, including 2017 BCAR President Frank Malone and 2017 MLS President Tommy Stanton. Service for the new directors and officers will begin in January of next year.
The Baldwin County Association of REALTORS®(BCAR) was awarded a $3,000 grant from the National Association of Realtors®’ Housing Opportunity Program to support activities that create and expand affordable housing opportunities. The grant will be used to host a first time homebuyer’s seminar on October 6 from 5:30 to 7pm at the association office in Robertsdale.
