“The National Association of REALTORS® has a great influence in Washington, D.C., and their focus is to monitor legislation and its effect on real estate consumers and investors in the USA,” said Malone, 2017 BCAR Board of Directors President. “NAR does a very good job vetting the wide range of legislation that is important to homeownership, and is quick to oppose legislation that would hurt the consumer, or impede homeownership growth across the country.”
"There’s growth in Baldwin County, and growth in the county gives opportunity for growth for jobs and I’m so glad BCAR can give back. We are fortunate to find good talent and people for years to come.”
"BCAR supports professionalism in their members, and programs such as GRI is an excellent foundation."
“The course offers a variety of information, and it prepares the REALTOR® how to teach the client who’s from another country,” Lauster said. “It helps the agent understand visas, tax implications, and liabilities that may not be present in the buyer’s home country. We also teach REALTORS® how to convey real estate information in terms the client will understand.”

"Growth is a good problem to have," said Daphne Mayor Dane Haygood, speaking at a recent "Bagels and Briefs" event sponsored by the Baldwin County Association of Realtors’ (BCAR) Legislative and Political Affairs Committee. "I’d much rather have the pressures of dealing with growth than dealing with issues related to dwindling population, no jobs and few revenue sources for our citizens."
