Uninterrupted Member Services During COVID-19 (coronavirus) Response
As the coronavirus / COVID-19 scenario develops nationally and in South Alabama, our top priority at Baldwin REALTORS® is to ensure that Members and MLS subscribers see no interruption in benefits and services. We are committed to this priority and will continue to be until this situation is resolved.
We are actively monitoring COVID-19 by staying close to official guidance from the National Association of REALTORS® , the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization
We want to address every touch-point members and subscribers have. Please read on for guidance from Baldwin REALTORS® and NAR®, and do not hesitate to ask us if you have any questions.

Baldwin REALTORS® office is closed to member traffic until further notice. Please utilize our
Staff Directory during this time for direct contact information.
BR® staff will continue working at the office, but will be required to wear masks and practice all existing sanitary guidelines while remaining a minimum of six feet apart. The office will remain closed to member traffic until further notice.

Any scenario that requires social distancing, such as showings or seller consultations, can pose challenges to our industry during this time. With that in mind, we will continue to evaluate the tools, policies, and resources we can provide to agents, members and their clients.

Extended CE Deadline & Delivered Virtually!

AREC has announced the deadline for completing the required CE to obtain or maintain an active real estate license for the upcoming license renewal period has been extended to December 31, 2020. Additionally, all approved courses, salesperson and broker pre-license, salesperson post-license and all continuing education courses, can now be delivered through virtual platforms [for CE] until December 31, 2020. 

PLEASE NOTE: The license renewal payment deadline has not changed.

 Governor Ivey Announces
Governor Kay Ivey on Monday, April 6, announced the launch of, an online resource that will serve as a hub of information for the state’s response to the coronavirus crisis. The website is designed to be a comprehensive guide to aid in navigating all issues related to the COVID-19 response. Individuals and business owners can seek help and identify state and federal resources that can provide a lifeline in the form of low-interest loans and financial assistance.

COVID-19 Addendum Form - in BR® Documents!
This newest form has been provided by Alabama REALTORS® and is available to you in your BR® Documents found in the Member Portal. We understand the current reality is causing some uncertainty for real estate transactions, so this document is available should you need it.

ShowingTime's New Default Setting
Due to overwhelming agent demand and a desire for the safest possible showings for all concerned, ShowingTime will be updating all current listings and the default for new listings to be “No Overlapping Showings” so that by default two showing agents won’t be scheduled to be in the same property at the same time.
Agents and offices can change their defaults later when or if they deem it appropriate, but the new default assumption on any listings in the ShowingTime system is “no overlap,” unless specifically designated by the listing agent or listing office.
