ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – The Baldwin County housing market experienced an increase in the average sales price last month, while inventory decreased according to the October 2019 Housing Report. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports 666 properties were sold in October 2019, which is an 8.6% increase from October 2018, when 613 properties were sold.
Total sales volume in October 2019 increased by 14.5% from the previous year totaling $205,489,070, compared to $179,484,470 in October 2018. The average sales price of residential properties in Baldwin County increased by 5.4% totaling $308,542, compared to $292,849 in October 2018. The total amount of residential active inventory in October 2019 was 3,052 properties, a decrease from 3,112 in 2018.
