ROBERTSDALE, Alabama – April 17, 2018 – Baldwin County Association of REALTORS® offices Bellator Real Estate and Development, RE/MAX of Orange Beach, and RE/MAX Paradise were recently ranked among the top 1000 brokerages in the U.S., according to RISMedia’s 30th Annual Power Broker Report. Seven brokerages from Alabama made the Power Broker Report. The total sales volume and closed transactions represent residential sales only.
The Top 1,000 2018 Power Brokers collectively earned more than $1.3 billion in sales volume and more than 3.7 million transactions in 2017 and encompass more than 478,000 agents and over 8,370 offices.
Bellator Real Estate and Development, ranked 604, reported a total sales volume of $448,776,305. The company is ranked 582 in closed transactions with a total of 1,646 in 2017. Bellator has offices in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fairhope, Daphne, Mobile and Saraland with 163 agents.
RE/MAX of Orange Beach reported a total sales volume of $351,809,548, putting it at place 742 on the list. This office closed 1,260 transactions and is ranked 729 for closed transactions. RE/MAX of Orange Beach has two offices in south Baldwin County and has 63 agents.
RE/MAX Paradise, located in Orange Beach, is the sole office and has 46 agents. RE/MAX Paradise reported 838 closed transactions in 2017 and is ranked 903 in the country. The total sales volume for this office in 2017 was $296,872,996, placing this office at spot 873.

- Seventy-one percent of Power Brokers are challenged most by the lack of housing supply.
- The majority of Power Brokers (38 percent) believe first-time homebuyers and millennials are their greatest opportunity.
- The majority of Power Brokers (38 percent) believe the housing market is "growing;" 30 percent believe it is stable.

RISMedia's 30th Anniversary Power Broker Report & Survey is based on an online survey of residential real estate brokerages in the U.S., conducted by RISMedia Jan. 25-Feb. 26, 2018. The survey ranks brokerages by closed sales volume and transaction sides in 2017. Brokerages must have had an individual, shareholder or entity with a minimum 50.1 percent ownership interest, inclusive of subsidiaries, complete the survey, and have had their submissions verified by the associated broker and accountant, CFO or other party who can validate the accuracy of the data submitted. To be eligible for the 2018 survey, brokerages must have completed a minimum of $150 million in residential sales volume in 2017.
